"Set in small town America in the 1970's, HAUNTED HOUSE OF THE VAMPIRE is a great young adult horror tale by baseball novelist Bruce Markusen. The story of Kenny Odom takes the reader on a grand adventure that starts in Kenny's basement where he discovers the body of a vampire and unknowingly sets the creature free, bringing him back into mortal society. With haunted attics, graveyards and the ever scary basement, Markusen manages a fantastical tale that keeps the reader enthralled, waiting impatiently for the next twist in Kenny's saga. Normally, I don't read contemporary romances, but Sue's books always have great charactes I fall in love with and her plots are intriguing. Never a boring moment." - Angelique Armae for TellTalePress

LORD PETER'S PAGE by Maureen Mackey
Publisher: Awe-Struck
Rating: 4 Stars
Genre: Regency Romance

This is one of the best and funniest regencies I have ever read. I actually laughed out loud while reading this book!! Miss Mackey is an incredible story teller who mixes charm, wit and heartfelt emotion all into one package. LORD PETER'S PAGE is a story not to be missed.

Miss Mackey creates a wonderful tale accented with humor as she brings to life Charlotte Finbury and Lord Peter Randolph. Two characters could not be more suited for each other than these two! Amid schemes and scandals, Charlotte and Peter find true love and also manage to find a way into the reader's heart. I truly enjoyed reading LORD PETER'S PAGE. It is a rarity that one finds an author who can make you laugh out loud while never once compromising the discriminating taste of the regency reader. I believe this to be one of Miss Mackey's greatest talents. LORD PETER'S PAGE has everything a regency fan would expect to find among the best of the genre's writings.
